Akasti Hotel

Pros: As a touristic worker I can say I highly reccomend this hotel to everybody that wants to go to Chania and to rest from noisy traffic, and busy lifestyle... Everything was so clean, they was cleaning every day! Everybody was super nice, from cleaning lady to owners. They helped us also with rent a car ageny which was very helpful. Highly reccomended!

Pros: The staff was very friendly, the housekeepers did a great job. The location is very nice, close to public transport and to the beach. Beautiful view from the rooms balcony and from the restaurants terrace.

Cons: The bathroom is small. The pictures from online may be a bit misleading, but considering the price we paid, we were satisfied.

Pros: The receptionist was very helpful and kind, and we had a pleasant conversation. The room was well equipped, the bed was comfortable. The pool and the restaurant also looked nice, even though I didn't have time to try them.

Cons: The room was a bit difficult to find. But the receptionist helped immediately.

Very freindly atmoshere

Pros: The stay was very enjoyable. It's an intimate, family-run establishment. The staff is very friendly and dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction.

Cons: Breakfasts are Greek style, but still very poor.

Hotel Akasti

Pros: Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff were very extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was great and never crowded. Always got a sun bed. 4 mins walk from the beach. Lots of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. 4 mins walk to the bus stop for Chania. Bus is every 15 mins and cost €2.50pp on the bus or €1.60 if you buy a ticket at the nearby kiosk.

Great hotel, great facilities, friendly staff. Spot on!

Pros: Great location, right on the road through with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The food in the hotel was pretty good but clearly knows it's out-beaten by the many dedicated eateries around the area, but the sunset from their restaurant is pretty stunning. The pool and beach beds were excellent and just the right location for those who like their sun throughout the day. Nothing really bad to say about the hotel. They were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Excellent value hotel in a wonderful seafront location with lovely pool.

Pros: We loved the location overlooking the marina & bay each morning while we enjoyed breakfast at the upstairs restaurant. The Brekky was a good standard, although no fresh fruit. There’s a lovely beach & a supermarket 2 minutes walk. We enjoyed the pool area & loungers to relax on. The beds were very comfortable & the staff were so friendly & helpful. We ended up returning to the hotel restaurant 3 of our 4 nights, because the food was so good, the prices were reasonable & the waitress was so cheerful & chatty.

Cons: The shower didn’t have a wall fixture, it was handheld, so it made washing your hair rather inconvenient. I also didn’t love how all the balconies are facing each other in close proximity……it made me a bit uncomfortable being out there if others were already sitting on theirs, and I felt like people could easily look into our room.

Good hotel for the value of the money

Pros: Very close to the seaside and great beaches around.

Cons: Breakfast wasn’t the best - it’s a very pooor buffet option.
