Creta Vitalis

Wonderful location if you have a car.

Pros: Great facility walking distance to the beach and very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast and amazing staff.

Cons: Sadly we didn’t have a car. The buses are very few and far between. The hotel didn’t have a bar or food available other than breakfast. Only on restaurant in the village.

Pros: Clean, beautiful, calm and well placed close to Chania and the airport. The service was also amazing very nice people!

Cons: Everything was good!

Very lovely hotel and a well placed village, but you have to have a car

Pros: Beach is 5-7 min walk; hotel is very close to the airport, lovely breakfast with very nice staff at the breakfast. I changed the room - first was not very good, soup on ground, broken glass in the bathroom, not the view promissed but the second room I was placed couple days later was really great - amazing sea view, better maintained bathroom. Very cute. The gardener is amazing, so beautiful. Nice pool with nice view.

Cons: The first room I was placed was not well maintained; pool bar was closed and I was informed only shortly before arrival. Reception is noisy in early mornings and evenings. Not the best hotel for light sleepers due to reception, airport, bad isolation between rooms.

Excellent price to quality ratio

Pros: The location is very convenient, close the the airport, to Chania and to the main road you take to travel between the island's main cities: Rethymno, Chania, Heraklion. The public ammenities are very nice, especially the pool. They also have a big parking lot. Rooms were clean and had everything you'd need. The staff was super friendly, especially Vagelis (sorry if I botched your name).

Cons: These really are minor things and I think some of them can't even be actioned on: - The rooms aren't too isolated so if you have noisy neighbours you'll probably hear them. Chances are that the other tourists are civilised and you'll be able to rest. Bring a pair of ear plugs just in case - The breakfast could be a bit more diversified but as far as I was able to tell there's only one person in charge of preparing it so not sure how much can be done in this case. Their option was good enough nonetheless - The double bed was a bit small for us, but maybe we're just used to the one at home which is bigger. We slept good anyway.

Good choice for families when visiting Chania area.

Pros: Close to Chania airport and very good sandy beach. We had a lovely time there, the pool was very nice, our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was simple but really good with fresh coffee.

Fantastic

Pros: We have not long got back from a great stay at Creta Vitalis. The room was very comfortable with AC, clean towels and room change everyday, a nice balcony to sit on. Bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was was lovely with a variety of food to eat, my friend and I enjoyed the cake, bread, cheese pie, and watemelon. Especially the coffee - thank you Vangelis. The pool area is fantastic and it is a great size, always clean and refreshing. A big thanks to Nikos & nini Nikos at the pool bar for making our trip so memorable with their funny, friendly service. One day we will be back to drink all your Mythos again! Efharisto poli to all the team at Creta Vitalis, we are definitely missing you.

Cons: Nothing about the hotel - just rent a car if you are confident to drive around the area as it is about 20 minutes from Chania centre. We figured out the bus service but this is quite a walk from the hotel so be prepared if you are going to do this. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance so keep some euros for taxis.

We loved everything!

Pros: We.loved everything. Our room with breathtaking sea view, wonderful sunset, fantastic staff that made us feel at home. Sparkling clean room every day coming back in the evening, lovely breakfast. Thank you so much Nico's, Mary, Electra Evangelion(Sorry if we misspelled any of your names!) We hope to be back next year.

Cons: Nothing, we just didn t like to leave after 5 nights!

One night stay after flight

Pros: Very polite staff both at reception and breakfast. We could take some breakfast to the room for the ones that missed it. Very clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment with air-conditioning in each room.. Close to airport, beach and tavernas although not walking distance. Apartments in an olive Grove, lots of trees around meaning the cicadas are having a ball all day long!

Cons: Would be nice to have a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival although it was for free when we got some from the pool café. Also some coffee capsule or similar for the first cup would have been nice. Pool needed some cleaning, lots of leaves from the trees around.
