Paleochora Perfection

Pros: Location was great. The owner set us up with lots of food goodies for the first day and night and even had his mother drop of some traditional Creten pasteries the next day. So considerate and they were wonderful. Top outdoor area with pool and deck chairs👍

A beautiful, well-equipped villa in a great location, made extra special by an outstanding host.

Pros: We had a wonderful week in this beautiful new villa. Everything feels high quality and thoughtfully designed, with tasteful furnishings, a fab roof terrace and all the equipment you could need. The location is fantastic . Peaceful and just outside the bustle of Paleochora, but only a short stroll to the beaches and town. Argyro is an exceptional host: warm, generous and full of local tips. She stocked the fridge when we arrived and even brought us homemade cakes and pies during the week.

Cons: Not negatives, but a few things to be aware of, that we wished we'd known: - Pool hours are officially 8am–6pm, which is a little limited. - It's 'full service' by default, with daily thorough cleaning. Many will love this, though we’d have preferred a bit more freedom to treat the villa as our own. - The immediate area around the villa is still a little undeveloped, next to a car park — but once inside, it’s a lovely, tranquil space.

We loved our stay and wished that we could have stayed longer and explored more.

Pros: This is a beautiful new house and everything has been carefully thought out. It is fully equipped to the highest standard with top quality furnishings, bedding, towels and toiletries. There is plenty of private outside space, a barbecue and a roof terrace. The pool is shared with the house next door but divided by a screen so that each house has a private half and there is a second private plunge pool. The cleaner came every day and brought little treats and there were some much appreciated supplies in the fridge when we arrived. The owner kept in touch by WhatsApp. The location is great as the house is situated between the 2 bays of Palaiochora and an easy stroll into the town. Palaiochora itself is a lovely town with pretty streets, lots of tavernas and stunning mountain views.

Cons: Nothing.

We can’t recommend this place enough! An absolute gem!

Pros: A beautiful and spacious property with modern fixtures and fittings, and everything had been well thought out. The pool area was lovely, and the roof terrace was amazing. The best place to sit and watch the sunset! The owners are lovely, and had left some food and drinks on arrival for us. It was Easter weekend with a lot of places closed so this was really helpful! We were travelling with a baby and they had even made up the cot with some cute baby linen and some wooden toy blocks. They were always on hand for anything we needed, and kept in touch to make sure everything was going Ok, and that the property was regularly cleaned. It’s located a really short walk to the town and the beach. We are already thinking about when we can go back! Aside from the property, we also had a slight mishap and had left our passports in the safe when we left for the airport! They went out of their way to make sure they got to use safely in Chania, for which we were incredibly grateful!

Cons: Nothing at all!

Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: The building is lovely and well furnished. The private pool is clean and a nice size. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. It's a short walk to the beach and the town centre.

Pros: Great location a short walk from the beach and the centre, but quiet and calm. The house has spacious rooms and is nicely furnished. We did not miss anything. The pool is very clean and fresh and the patio is perfect for relaxed days at the house.

Pros: Rauhallisella alueella oleva luksuskohde, joka kuitenkin lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Palaiochoran keskustasta sekä lähimmältä hiekkarannalta. Sängyt huippuluokkaa, nukuimme mainiosti. Meidät huomioitiin saapuessamme monin tavoin, mm. tuoreilla leivonnaisilla. Tulemme ehdottomasti uudestaan 😊🙏🏼

Cons: Jos uima-allas olisi vielä lämmitetty, tämä kohde olisi enemmän kuin mitä voisi toivoa 🙏🏼

Pros: Piękny wystrój wnętrza, bardzo komfortowe i funkcjonalne wnętrza. Niesamowita czystość. Swietna obsługa! Najlepsza!

Sehr empfehlenswert !!!

Pros: Ein sehr schönes Haus - hochwertig und komfortabel eingerichtet mit einer schönen Terrasse in jeder Etage - incl. Dachterasse, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Man hatte einen schönen Blick vom Haus. Perfekt. Der Pool war sehr schön erfrischend. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Kühlschrank war mit einigen Lebensmitteln bereits gefüllt, Kaffee und Tee sowie ein paar Getränke waren vorhanden. Es gab ausreichend Geschirr. Es uns sehr gut hier gefallen.
