Sun Beach Apartments

Excellent Location - Good Value

Pros: Well located apartment within minutes of the beach. The owner Stavvos was friendly and easy to contact and has an onsite car hire business which was convienant. The apartment itself was spacious for 2 with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The neighbourhood is easy to walk around and there are lots of eating options all within a short distance - you can stroll down to the beach and sip an espresso while watching the waves if you wish!

Pros: If you prefer a quiet setting over staying in Chania, this location is perfect - wide sandy beach and pine woods all around. Chania is still easily accessible by bus, running every 10–15 minutes until late. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the apartment is spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Highly recommended!

Cons: Bathroom small

Pros: Excellent location, a few meters away from the gorgeous Golden beach and walking distance to three more quite interesting beaches. Right beside there is a supermarket and few steps further, a bus station to the town with frequent bus, every 5-10 minutes., Nice, clean and spacious rooms, decent bathroom, large balcony/logia. We booked for three people, but ended up going only two of us, so we had a separate bedroom and two balconies, but I guess room for two must have a balcony of similar size to ours. Room is equiped with kitchen and basic appliances, coffee machine is for filtered coffee, no toaster, but there is a sandwich heater etc

Cons: Occasional football games showing in the cafe that is part of the hotel and makes a bit of noise if you decide to stay in the room for the evening, but this was far from overwhelming...

A great place to stay in Chrisi Akti!

Pros: Lovely small apartment with a kitchenette, good shower, balcony and very comfortable beds! Also the location is very handy as the apartments are situated close to a beautiful beach, and there's a small supermarket almost next door. The bus stop for Chania is only a few steps away. The fact that there's a bar on the ground floor didn't bother us as it closed early and the wasn't any noise late in the evening. The owner was very helpful as he sent me practical information per whatsApp before our arrival. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a holiday in Chania area.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Excellent value, perfect location, spotless accommodation.

Pros: Recently renovated and spotless. Excellent location just by the best beach in the area. Large room with basic kitchen, fridge with freezer box, comfy bed, good Aircon and WiFi. Supermarket and cafe bar right next door. Bus stop to Chania town right outside. Tho you can walk to Chania along the pretty coastline in 20 minutes. The area has everything you could want. The owners are very helpful, booking taxis and restaurant recommendations etc. lovely little pool to cool down and sun loungers that get the sun all afternoon. My terrace got the sun all morning so it was perfect. Road is pretty quiet and even though there is the sports bar just outside, I was never bothered by noise. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Fabulous ! Great value for money 😍

Pros: A fabulous place to stay and great value for money! 3 minutes from the beach and one of the most amazing beaches in the area. Other beaches 10 mins away were lovely too.. The apartment was basic but fully equipped.. just what we were looking for. The bed was super comfy... our most top requirements of all! Andrea's and Chrissa, were super hosts! I really couldn't recommend this place more 😍

Cons: It was all good. A bus service takes you into town about every 30 minutes. A super location.

Loads air and space close everywhere

Pros: Double Bed was super comfy, there was also sofa in a living room, but didn't use to sleep. Beach, shops, bus stop- everything in minutes by walk Loads of parking space infront and a minute walk away Very important air, space - 2 balconies, loads space in living room Been to 3 places that time and this was best He also have rental of cars and bikes can see it in front of on google street map

Cons: Fridge didn't work properly. Bar for ones could be great for others not. But time I was it was only on weekend and wasn't open till late night, don't know how is summer, but if will be busy I will better run away and back when they close. Balcony is just over bar

Pros: Sun Beach Apartments exceeded our expectations for a relaxing holiday. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed, including a cozy balcony that was perfect for unwinding. We loved the convenience of the on-site car rental, provided by the same friendly owner who runs the apartments. The location is fantastic, with a quiet, stunning beach just a minute's walk away. There’s also a great sports bar nearby where you can watch football and enjoy food and drinks. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!

Cons: Absolutely nothing. The only downside was that we had to leave!

I felt very at home in the studio.

Pros: I loved the studio, it was extra clean and had nice finishing touches there was also an adorable cat. It was difficult to leave I would love to come back.

Cons: just some building noise that seems to be everywhere in Crete and not the fault of the owners.
