Lovely, family-run hotel on the edge of Chania

Pros: Andreas and his family are such welcoming, kind hosts and they really make you feel at home. The pool area is so chill, there are loads of places to sit outside and enjoy the Cretan sun on site and the beach is just down the road. Transport links into Chania are good, with two bus lines at the end of the road, and bars and minimarkets nearby too.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: - pool - our daughter loved it - the friendly owner Andreas - lovely pool bar and Andreas makes the best Frapé - close to beach and town (15 - 20min walk or just 7mins by bus) - relaxed atmosphere - two cute dogs

Cons: - tiny bathroom - kitchen facilities could have been better - there was no drying rack, just a small one that was out of service for some days. It got repaired but it was small and we couldn't dry all our stuff at once

Clean and friendly stay

Pros: The owner was very welcoming and informative. We loved seeing the dogs and getting in a few pats as we were missing our pets a lot. The beach was very close but the pool was also excellent. It is very close to the us straight into Chania old town too which ia great.

Cons: Nothing.

Ideal week

Pros: Apartment was a good size and had everything you would need, location great - 2 mins walk to the beach. Andreas and his family were wonderful hosts and the beer on tap is delicious. Rocky and Hercules are nice to have around too

Cons: Nothing. It would be good to have a dustpan and brush

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and everything was super clean. The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help or answer any questions. It felt very welcoming. The location is great - just a few minutes from a nice beach, and there are supermarkets close by, which is very convenient. A nice bonus was that the hotel provides free beach towels and sunbeds, which made beach days even easier. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxed place to stay. I’d gladly come back.

An excellent value for money holiday in a great location.

Pros: The accommodation is approximately 25 minutes from the airport. Walking distance to the beach and a small mini market next door. Larger supermarket within walking distance. There are several restaurants close by and a selection of beach bars. The bus into Chania is about 15 minutes and costs just over 1 euro. The resort is quiet but you have the option of Chania or Planatias ( again approximately 15 minutes on the bus) for more choice of restaurants and bars. Andreas and his family were extremely welcoming and there is a small bar and good choice of snacks and simple Greek food available on site. The room was comfortable and the maid came every day for a simple tidy and clean towels and then every few days for a full linen change.

Cons: The pool area doesn’t have much space for sun beds. There was always a bed available but it’s very narrow around the side of the pool so would be difficult to have a few beds out at the same time.

We had a wonderful time and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Pros: Well-equipped apartments that are cleaned daily and have all the facilities our family needed. Location was fantastic (close to great beaches, shops etc) and the owners are very personable and are always on hand for any local tips, taxi booking and they make all the tasty food!

Cons: There really were no negatives for us.
