Pros: Very cozy authentic place in a small quiet village in the mountains, but still not far from wonderful beaches and hiking trails. The owners and personnel are very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast is very tasty and abundant, in a courtyard under the shade of the trees with the view.. We stayed one week and truly enjoyed it, it got a special place in our hearts..

Pros: host Greg and his lovely wife Eleni, were very kind and so friendly. Place is a bit far from beach attractions but close to the mountains trails. The place is beautiful, breakfast was excellent, rooms are very plesent and desighned very special.

Beautiful and suggestive place
Pros: Very nice place, our room was at ground floor equipped with all the needs. The location is quiet suggestive as in a small small village at the valley of mountains but very close to Elafonissy beach, just about 20 minutes. The lady that welcomed us was super nice and instructed us with some advices also offered a peace of cake! Comphy bed and overall nice room!
Cons: The lights were very soft so a but difficult to see properly in the dark room at night. Also the insect screen was broken so I couldn’t leave the window open which is a petty but not a big deal as Ac was functioning perfectly.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful fairytale and quiet location.
Pros: Beautifully remodeled old Cretan house into modern standards. Without losing its character. Loved the lemon trees on the porch! And the hosts were lovely, bringing cake and figs and beer. So homely!
Cons: It was my bad luck when a huge Italian family with kids came late at night and settled down at the shared porch - so it felt a bit overwhelming and uncomfortable to sit alone outside to read a book. And I’d love a night lamp at the bed!

Mountain home in great natural setting, close to beautiful beaches
Pros: Loved the location hidden in the beautiful mountains, very peaceful place, away from the most touristic areas, yet short drive to Elafonisi and other nice beaches nearby, recommended by our host Eleni (who gave us great tips about places to visit, where to eat, etc.). The place was very clean and comfortable, we stayed for 3 nights and we regret that we didn't have more time. The village is very small, but in the next villages there are grocery stores and good tavernas, just few minutes drive.
Cons: Google maps can get a bit confused in the mountains, trying to get you into dirt roads or not knowing the new roads being constructed in the mountains. Just follow the main road and you will be fine.

A peaceful mountain retreat with warm hospitality and great access to Elafonissi beach.
Pros: The location felt truly unique — a peaceful and scenic spot nestled in the Cretan mountains. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful touch, and the host was incredibly kind, welcoming us with a delicious piece of homemade cake. The room was large, comfortable, and very clean — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Cons: There’s no bar or restaurant nearby, so you’ll need to drive a few kilometers to Elos or other villages for dinner. It’s something to keep in mind, as the area is very quiet and isolated — which can be either a plus or a minus depending on what you’re looking for.

Pros: We stayed here for 3 days and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Eleni - the host was amazing - so welcoming and generous. We were treated to delicious homemade cakes twice during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was a true highlight: all homemade, plentiful, and incredibly tasty. This was by far our favorite accommodation of the entire trip. Highly recommended!
