Elena Beach Hotel

Very please with hospitality and service, cosy & perfectly clean room, despite the sandy beach.

Pros: Breakfast is almost superb, never run out of anything as they really take care even of fresh omelettes every half hour. Planty of croissants and other sweeties. All the stuff is incredibly nice and helpful, always with a smile what makes your day really Sunny.

Cons: Missed fresh juice at breakfast

Pros: Large room and terrace with view to the sea (though our was not seefront), comfy bed and wide bathroom. Great price for value in off-season period

Pros: Location, close to the beach, clean, quiet, staff nice.

Cons: Dinner - it is necessary to improve

Almost idyllic!

Pros: The upgraded room we had was great - faced the sea, and very well designed. Comfortable bed. Loved the few steps to the beautiful beach and free sunbeds. Staff were very friendly and quick to help.

Cons: The shower cubicle leaked over the floor. We decided to stay another night and had to change rooms. The second room was perfectly acceptable, but being on the other side looked out on another hotel with only a glimpse of sea. We'd have liked to be able to make a hot drink in our room, or at least get one somewhere in the hotel outside of mealtimes.

Pros: Anna Maria from reception very very kind. The location of the hotel is near to amazing places (Balos-Elafonissi-Falasarna)

Pros: All ! It was a perfect stay .. I do not understand the previous notes that the hotel needs a renovation! It doesn’t need !! It’s absolutely perfect with all.. the location, the rooms, the staff on the reception, the cleaning ladies.. Only the beach bar girls could smile a bit more … but we loved each day and we will choose it again !

Cons: When I need to say something what they could do better is only the point to make the sunbeds on the beach a little bit more comfortable -

Great spot to visit Balos, Falassarna and Elafonissi!

Pros: It is a perfect location to visit the best beaches in the western part of Crete. You can reach town centre and main restaurants just walking for 10 minutes. The hotel is really new and cozy, staff very friendly and supporting. We really appreciated the gift they left in our room at our arrival (bottle of local wine). Breakfast was fine and we really enjoyed having it in the terrace with that amazing view of the sea. Room was clean and bed extremely comfortable.

Cons: Unfortunately we didn’t have a room with a sight at the sea but it was not a must have to us. We would recommend to Elena Beach to improve illumination in the rooms, they are a bit dark inside.

We liked this, but it may not be everyone's taste.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not many facilities, but right on the beach. Great view and feeling of space. Great breakfast. Evening meal is authentic home cooking with a choice for main course of vegetarian or meat dish.

Cons: It would be nice to have a choice of starter and an alternative on mains. Sometimes, all 3 dishes wouldn't be something you'd choose from a buffet or menu. Perhaps a tabletennis, dart board or yoga area could be considered.
