Pros: The location was 4km from the start of the Samarian Gorge and our host drove us to the entrance. We went for a short walk when we first got there to explore the area. Lovely scenery

Pros: Beautiful and clean new hotel. The host is marvellous. We were in a group of seven people and we had a delicious dinner. Tasting traditional Cretan food. The rooms are very clean.

Pros: Such a lovely little place. Rooms are large and clean. Make sure to take a step outside your room in the evening to see the stars. The restaurant attached is also wonderful and the owners were beyond helpful.

Ideal place to stay before and / or after the Samaria Goege trekking.

Pros: The room and the bathroom are brand new. From 7 AM to 9 PM you have a taverna at your disposal where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with a good selection of traditional dishes. Friendly to people with disabilities. Staff is extremely kind and available to address any needs.

Pros: The hotel is really close to the entry of the Samaria canyon making it perfect for a stay while doing the hike. The owners are very nice and helpful! Also the food was really good and the rooms were pretty and clean!

Great accommodation for the Samaria Gorge

Pros: Typical Cretan accommodation, good, basic facilities that were clean & perfect for a short stay. Good traditional food available too. The location is perfect for access to walk the Samaria Gorge.

Cons: Nothing, it totally met expectations.

Great place to stay if you plan to go hiking in the White Mountains

Pros: Staff is really extraordinarily friendly. Meals in the restaurant are good and come at good prices. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. You can start many of the White Mountains hiking tours directly at the hotel.

Cons: Nothing to complain

Very pleasant, friendly atmosphere, quiet.

Pros: Good location, warm welcome, and a nice room. We didn't like the first room offered, but then immediately got the free choice of another room (8 rooms in total). New room was at a corner, quiet, with a terasse and a nice view of the mountains. Room was basic, but clean. Dinner was good, owner very friendly, and we were offered free fruit, greek yoghurt and raki (liquor). Public car charger (for our electric car) was broken, thus we were allowed to charge our car for free with a cable through the window to the restaurant. Much appreciated.

Cons: Bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
